What if the forecast calls for bad weather?
We understand that weather happens and that no one wants to have a picnic in bad weather. For days that forecast rain (45% chance of higher) we ask that you provide a back up location somewhere inside or under cover. This could be your rental living room or possibly your hotel room. We will try our hardest to create a beautiful picnic for you rain or shine! No refunds will be issued for inclement weather (wind, mist, fog, rain, thunder or lighting storms).
How do I cancel my reservation?
All of our Picnic Experiences require full payment at time of booking and are fully refundable if cancelled at least 7 days prior to the picnic date. No refunds for picnics cancelled 6 days or closer to picnic date.
Do you stay on site during our picnic?
No, we will deliver and set-up your picnic and leave once you’re settled. We’ll return once your reservation ends to clean up the site.
What happens when our picnic is over?
After you’ve enjoyed your picnic you just get up and go, it’s that easy. We will return to the site at the end of your visit to take care of clean up. If you are ready to leave before the end of your specified picnic time please call us ASAP so we can return to the site. You will be responsible for all picnic inventory until we return to the site. If you abandon the site and damage or theft occur, you will be financially responsible.
Can we bring our own alcohol to the winery?
Our winery partners require only their alcohol to be consumed on site per New York State law. Homes and vacation rentals are allowed to provide their own alcohol. Our wine partners are happy to provide a nice variety of wines and beverages for purchase by glass or bottle.
Can we bring our own food to the winery?
Yes! While we love the food options our wine partners provide we understand that you may feel more comfortable bringing your own goodies and you are welcome to do so.
Where do we picnic?
Our guests love the experience of being close to vineyards and lake views, this is why we’ve partnered with a couple of our favorite wineries that focus on expressive wine that reflects the beauty of the Finger Lakes Region. Homes and vacation rentals may also be used for our picnic experiences. If you have a specific picnic place in mind, reach out and we will definitely try to make it happen! Our travel limit is 10 miles but we can travel further for a distance fee of $15 for every 10 additional miles outside the 10 mile radius.
